STOP SIGN

A simple mindful practice I use regularly is a STOP Sign. You can identify anything to be your STOP sign - when you see a certain color, when you step out of your office, a literal STOP sign like the one below.

Whenever you see your STOP sign,

S: Stop whatever you are doing. T: Take three deep breaths. O: Observe. Tune into your physical sensations, surroundings, and emotions. Notice what you see, hear, feel, and taste. Label your emotions (without judging them). Identify your thoughts. P: Proceed. Carry on with more awareness of the present moment.

Feel free to print out the STOP sign below! And then tell me about your experience integrating the practice into your everyday!
